Forgiving the People You Work for and With

I can’t minimize the spiritual importance of your daily job. Your place of employment is really a laboratory for growth. Some of us go to work, figuratively kicking and screaming. We continue only to fetch that regular paycheck. But God desires much more for us than a piece of paper that can’t possibly accurately convey our worth, anyway. You should be joyful at work! If this isn’t the case, look around to see who and what you need to forgive. Something is blocking your joy, stopping your lessons and putting your career on hold. Take this little test, do what the answers call for and get a raise in joy and most likely in income, too.

Forgive

So who do you need to forgive? Most often the answer is: You, the company, and the boss! Since you’ve quieted your mind by stopping your complaining and you’ve sowed the spiritual soil to receive by focusing on being grateful, it will become clear to you what needs to be forgiven. Maybe it’s you for not recognizing your worth again. Or the company that mistreats people by ignoring their value as employees. Or a boss who takes credit for every success, discounting your contribution. Whatever it is, forgive! You’ve outgrown the complainer, moved through the grace of forgiveness and can now reside in the land where all things are possible. That’s exactly where the raises are handed out!
