Eat a Balanced Diet
When one gets depressed, it’s easy to lean towards either eating too much or not eating enough. Be sure to maintain a balanced diet that contains plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and protein. If your appetite is waning, set up a schedule and eat around the same time every day, even if you don’t feel like it. Control over-eating by eating smaller healthy meals and snacks throughout the day. Avoid sugar and alcohol and drink plenty of water.
