Poor Hydration
Not drinking enough water can cause a variety of health issues, including headaches, lower mood and dehydration. You can become dizzy, weak or overheated, which is not ideal in any situation, especially at work when you want to be alert and productive.
So what can you do? Drink water even when you’re not thirsty. Aim to consume at least eight 8-ounce glasses of fluid per day, but more is better, especially if it is hot in your office or outside. It helps to keep a pitcher of water at your desk to sip throughout the day, or even better, frequent the water cooler. Those small trips can be a big help towards keeping your body moving and hydrated. Consider using a mug or reusable water bottle if the paper cups are small. You get more water in one trip and it’s better for the environment.
