Get More Sleep
If you are not getting enough sleep, it will make you more vulnerable to getting sick. Getting adequate rest is a significant step in being healthy. If the body is fatigued, you are not running at 100 percent. What happens is the body can’t fight off infection as good as it could when it is rested. Additionally, if you have severe insomnia, the lack of sleep will not only put you into a fog, but it could put you at a higher risk for cardiovascular disease, diabetes or obesity. The mortality rate for people with insomnia is three-times higher than those who don’t suffer from lack of sleep.
