Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease is long, arduous, and draining journey. The strongest spirit can sag beneath the weight of loss and loneliness, and peace of heart can seem impossible. Yet, in times of darkest challenge, faith and the comfort that we draw from it can make the difference between stumbling and carrying on, between despair and resilience. Much like how we nourish our bodies, doing things that will feed our souls can help us through these hard days and nights, and provide immense support for the trials and, yes, the graces, that come with this journey.
