If you want flavor try fresh or dried herbs such as dill, basil, mint, sage, tarragon, and rosemary. Avoid black pepper, nutmeg, cloves, chili powder, onions, mustard, horseradish, and acidic foods such as catsup, tomato sauce, and vinegar.
